Cappadocia feels like a blend of Toyland and Bedrock City, making us unsure whether to expect Noddy or Fred Flintstone. Around every corner, there was something new. The “fairy chimneys” took on various shapes—seals, camels, and more evocative forms in the aptly named Love Valley.

This holiday is perfect for art lovers, with its wonderful paintings, frescos, sculptures, and architecture. Montecatini is a busy but delightful town, and the Hotel Arnolfo provided a friendly, family-run atmosphere where the hardworking staff attended to our every need with a smile.
