Tried and tested over eight exceptional decades in walking holidays, we offer more than 300 hand-crafted itineraries across six continents, each carefully designed by on-the-ground experts who know the terrain intimately. But we knew there was still more we could do.

All of our European and worldwide holidays include flights, local transfers, most meals, and a trained and qualified tour leader. There’s none of the hassle of planning everything or working out where to go next. And you’ll never get lost!
Mealtimes are relaxed and sociable occasions, at which people often discuss the day’s events and tomorrow’s schedule. And don't worry, on holidays where not all meals are included, we won’t leave you to fend for yourself.
Exploring the world in a small group is one of the most sociable holiday experiences there is. Our walkers come from a wide range of backgrounds and ages, but all share a passion for exploring new places, walking and the outdoors. Usually, about half of those in the group are solo travellers. On average, we have around 14 people in one group. Our groups can walk away from the crowds and safely visit areas in which might you not feel comfortable on your own, but would feel too conspicuous in a large group.
You can also tailor our walking holidays to your particular needs. For example, if you are travelling alone and you like your privacy, you can choose to have a single room. Or, as many hotels still levy a single supplement, you can choose to share a twin room with another group member of the same sex and avoid any extra cost.
