All our trips across the UK, Europe and Worldwide are available to book as a private group holiday, meaning that you have hundreds of choices. These tried and tested itineraries are suitable for all types, and we even have trips with different grades of walking for groups of mixed ability. You'll get a dedicated account manager and the services of our experienced, well-connected Groups Team while planning your trip, and an experienced private guide who will accompany your group so that you can relax and enjoy your holiday with those that matter most.

Country House Private Group Hire

As well as providing fantastic walking holidays from Hassness Country House, our property in the Lake District is also available to hire on a catered basis for 3, 4 or 7 nights at various times throughout the year. We have welcomed a wide range of groups to the house from families and groups of friends to local clubs and even hosted weddings on the property grounds. If you are interested in a fully catered, private hire stay on the shores of Buttermere, on an exclusive use basis for your group, please contact us without delay and we can discuss availability and prices.

You simply let us know what you are interested in, and we will organise the rest. It’s that easy.   • Could I be a Group Organiser?

    Yes! Our dedicated Private Groups Team will guide you through the procedure and ensure that it is as seamless as possible. Just get in touch and let us know your plans.

  • What do I need to do first?

    Take the first step and, without commitment, give us a call on Tel 01707 386723 with an outline of your plans. Tell us the destination that you’d like to explore, the ideal date you’d like to get away and the size of your group. We’ll talk you through the rest. Alternatively, just send us a message using the form below, and we’ll be in touch to discuss your plans.

  • Who will I be dealing with?

    Our Private Groups Team are always on hand to deal with even the most challenging requests. With their passion and wealth of experience in this specialist area, the team will provide you and the your group members with complete confidence and peace of mind.

  • What sort of trip can I take?

    We offer over 300 holidays across the UK, Europe and Worldwide, and these are all available to be booked as private group holidays. You could go on a guided walking holiday, book a holiday with multiple grades of walking for people of different abilities, or take over our country house in the Lake District for a private stay.
