Wales Walking Holidays

Coastal Walks in Wales

When it comes to walking holidays in Wales with Ramble Worldwide, you can see it all. We help you uncover numerous different walking routes, allowing you to travel in the footsteps of the King of Mercia, or simply enjoy the lush valleys and shaded forests.

The coastline of Wales is spectacular and varied. One minute, there are world-class beaches, and the next, rugged cliffs jutting out into the sea. The best thing about it is you can enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty on various footpaths.

The Wales Coast Path is the first path in the world to follow a country’s coastline in its entirety. You can dip in anywhere along its 870 miles for jaw-dropping views, contemporary cultural hotspots, and thousands of years of history.

Roam the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast Path to admire seals and bottlenose dolphins in the ocean beneath you, accompanied by phenomenal views of the Teifi Estuary. Or discover the wildlife of Anglesey by traversing the multitude of picturesque settings on this island.

Inland Beauty

Venture into the countryside for a true challenge, where peaks and cliffs appear among the rolling hills. Head to Llanymynech Hill and ramble past the exquisite Tintern Abbey, before glimpsing the Llanthony Priory.

One of the most iconic Welsh walks has to be Offa’s Dyke - running over 170 miles from Prestatyn in North Wales to Chepstow. The path takes you through two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, through contrasting landscapes and terrain.

Meander the blissful Black Mountains to the Clwydian Hills, and across the Dee Valley. Explore the mountains and moorlands of the iconic Brecon Beacons or Snowdonia National Park, famous for Wales’ highest mountain. They are magnificent locations for a short break.
