I arrived about 9.30am at Palma airport from Gatwick and soon met our leader for the week, George. I was surprised to hear that I was the only one to be transferred to San Telmo, but George assured me that there were 8 others on the holiday.

After our bus left Malaga airport there was a massive downpour and many roads were awash with water. We made it safely to our hotel, and the rain stopped as quickly as it had started.

“Classical Andalucía” was a splendid holiday, from which we have just returned. It combined the very best of Spanish Muslim, Moorish and Christian culture with a variety of stunning countryside walks outside the towns brimming with historical ruins.

Majorca – just a hop, skip and a jump away. A mere two-hour flight enabled us to reach Palma Airport and meet our leader, George Wright. Shortly after, we were warmly welcomed into the south-western side of San Telmo and were immediately thrilled at its walking possibilities.
