Classical Andalucía 4 – 18 September, 2012
“Classical Andalucía” was a splendid holiday, from which we have just returned.
It combined the very best of Spanish Muslim, Moorish and Christian culture with a variety of stunning countryside walks outside the towns brimming with historical ruins.
Company, conversation and creature comforts were excellent, but the best feature was the knowledge, enthusiasm and niceness of the leader, Nigel Shervey.
Never have I been on a holiday where so much laughter was shared and enjoyed!
I would thoroughly recommend this time in Spain to anyone. It combined a classical education, with some truly amazing sights, with comfortable hotels and meals, both situated within a stone’s throw of significant buildings.
The weather was splendid and manageable, in spite of high temperatures, and this was another feature of a totally wonderful trip.
