The long-distance footpath through southern Turkey has existed since 1999, when Kate Clow marked a 500 km walk around the Teke Peninsula, from Fethiye to near Antalya. Antalya, one of Turkey’s greatest Mediterranean cities, was our arrival and departure point for this exciting holiday.

The Western Wall, or Kotel, at the foot of the Temple Mount in the Old City, is the last remnant of the ancient Jewish Temple. Its religious significance makes it the most sacred site for Jews, second only to the Temple Mount itself.
