What does this mean?
Overview
Explore the charming village of Boi, situated to the south of Aigüestortes National Park in the Spanish Pyrenees. This region offers a plethora of stunning walking opportunities set against a backdrop of breath taking natural beauty. During your week here, you'll have the chance to visit ancient Romanesque churches, witness the awe-inspiring Aigüestortes National Park, and explore the eight distinct villages of Vall de Boi, each with its unique character. In spring and summer, the villages come alive with vibrant flower boxes, beautifully complementing the local architecture. This holiday also provides an opportunity to savour Vall de Boi's cuisine, prepared with natural, locally sourced ingredients following ancient traditions. At night, the skies come alive with stars, offering a stark contrast to the dark sky, this area is considered one of the best places to stargaze in Spain.
We visit the area in the 'off-peak' season which means the village of Boi in generally quieter and due to its remote location there are few additional activities to do in the village during free time and evenings.
