Everything about this holiday was a highlight! First impressions; trouble free travel, a great hotel and beautiful, green countryside. Sightseeing; the Old City of Dubrovnick is well worth a visit and a walk along the walls.

Saturday TAP flight left on time. Gained 30 minutes. 1 hour from airport to Hotel. Nice Hotel. After dinner, there was time for a pleasant stroll around town.

Springtime, of course, produced an abundance of wild flowers, and, while not a specific reason for our holiday, the presence of two amateur botanists in our group, and their excited cries every time they found a new and rare flower, soon had us all appreciating the wonders that surrounded us.
